Planning your Kamakura and Enoshima day trip
Kamakura is a good choice when you want temple visits and time by the coast in the same private day from Tokyo. The published route offers the Great Buddha, gardens, shrines and beaches, but a relaxed visit means choosing priorities rather than rushing through every listed stop.
Build the day around a few temple visits
Kotoku-in's Great Buddha and Hase-dera are useful anchors for a first visit. The published options also include Kencho-ji, Meigetsu-in, Tsurugaoka Hachimangu and Hokokuji's bamboo garden. Tell us which places interest you most so the team can propose an order. Time spent inside each site, traffic and the season all affect how many visits comfortably fit within ten hours.
Decide how much time to give the coast
Enoshima Beach and Yuigahama Beach offer a different pace from the temple areas. If the coast is a priority, leave room for it in the plan instead of adding it after a full list of temple stops. Share any lunch plans or places you want to linger. Your driver can adjust the day's sequence within the booked duration, but the return to Tokyo also needs to fit the schedule.
